Meet the Creative Mind
I've always been creative, but in my later life I've decided to improve my painting skills and delve into other forms off art, including all types of jewelry making. Currently, I'm painting with acrylic and oil paints on stretched canvas, canvas board, and other materials. My jewelry adventure has taken me in the direction of using recyclable materials, specifically glass and ceramics. I fuse art and bottle glass for many of my jewelry pieces. I also take broken ceramics (cups, bowls, plates, etc.) and turn them into pendants. In addition, I use vintage pieces from broken necklaces and bracelets to make new pieces.
